Shriners Hospital For Children In Spokane
Shriners offers men and their families an opportunity to meet new
friends who have similar interests. There are 191 Shrine Temples, or
chapters, located in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Republic
of Panama. Informal Shrine Clubs are located around the world.
Shriners of North America support Shriners Hospitals for Children, a
one-of-a-kind international health care system of 22 hospitals
dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing specialty
pediatric care, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs.
Since 1922, Shriners Hospitals for Children have significantly improved
the lives of more than 865,000 children.
The MAX Foundation
Dedicated to helping patients with blood related cancers and
other rare forms of cancer worldwide by facilitating access to treatment and also
providing care and support for those with limited access to resources. One of
our goals is to find a cure for Childhood
Leukemia. Over the years,
The Max Foundation has collected a list of local resources that now make up our
comprehensive international resource database built to better serve our global
community. Each day, we continue to grow the list in this dynamic database. Our
database is especially focused on capturing information about service
organizations in developing countries.
North American Disaster Relief Foundation (NADRF)
The "adopt a Family Program" through a nationwide community alliance framework, creating among community and religious groups a local and state wide first response effort to emergency situations arising within their communities throughout the Unitied States. NADRF works to coordinate and focus the relief efforts of community volunteers, church, and faith-based organizations through our "Adopt a Family Program".
Examples of their efforts include The Rivers Flooding of 2006, the Flooding of 2007, and assistance following the Hurricane Katrina Disaster. We have stepped in to assist famlies as they wait for FEMA, and famlies that did not qualify for FEMA assistance.
